The leaves are deep red and hold their colour well into late summer. The fall color will usually be a bright crimson. Bloodgood will do great in a sunny position. If it is placed a shaded spot, the leaves wont turn as red as they normally would and may be a mix of red with a dark green color. Bloodgood is a strong
