sweden 1811 tema_Mytologi It is a fire-eating manPoster with a map of Sweden in 1811. On the edge of the map we also see Denmark, Norway and Finland. In the upper left corner we see the text "Map of Sweden by Carl Akrell 1811". Just two years earlier, in 1809, Sweden had lost the Finnish War and thus lost Finland to Russia. Sweden compensated for the loss by conquering Norway, which in 1814 was forced to form a union with Sweden. The union between Sweden and Norway was already dissolved in 1905
