Rau, Philadelphia Democrat is in good condition withOriginal CDV of the prominent Philadelphia photographer William Herman Rau, probably taken by his wife Louisa, who was also a photographer. Rau had a studio in Philadelphia, on Grand Avenue. His was Louise was also the daughter of the noted photographer William Bell, whose studio was also in Philadelphia.
